Congratulations on a new member of your family. The baby may not be magical, though. That could be a blessing and a curse, though. Blessing because it wouldn't have to deal with being muggle-born and a curse because YOU are magical. My best friend is a muggle and his sister is magical. It's kind of hard on him but at least he doesn't have to deal with the terrible prejudices.

Either way there are downsides and upsides but I wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you. Either way you'll love them and they'll love you and either way it will be a struggle. Just enjoy the ride.

I will... ^_^
I just want them to always be and feel safe... I know your a pureblood, and you don't really understand exactly whata we are feeling... well, I'm sure you can guess. But it's sometimes so hard, having to feel like that 24/7... and not just for yourself. But for your whole family, as well...
Um... Promise... why are you so wound up in this subject? It seems alot to you, if you don't mind me asking...
Very well said, Neville :) Congratulations, Lavender. It just shows that even with the terrible things happening around us, good things are also happening.

Oh, and bring Ginny, if you can find her...
((ooc: I think, from what I've heard, Hermione's player's internet isn't working, so we are going to play it by ear... also, Hermione is at the lake, and as soon as Prof. Mcg. tells the others, that's were WE are...))

You're right.. I didn't think of that. Of course, I'm hardly thinking at all at the moment...
But I would love it if he/she was magical... to experience the things that I have... however, I don't know if it is really that safe...

Love is an ancient magic that no one can touch. Life itself is magical, and every birth, no matter the nature of the child, has magic in it.
No matter what, If your new sibling is loved, there is magic there, and not even Voldemort can take that away.
This is a miracle in a time of darkness, Lav. It should be celebrated, and provide joy to everyone involved in it.
