We were at my Granmas house collecting pictures for the funeral home and I was looking for something to keep that would remind me of her. I pulled out several afghans and offered them up to my sis and cousin. I already have a few she made me and I learned crochet from her years ago to preserve that memory. I looked and looked. I am so sad for your loss, Lisa, I didn't get from the last post that she had passed.. you are so lucky to have had such a wonderful, beautiful woman in your life.

It sounds like she must've live a long full life, and she's ready to hear the gossip people say about her and see the gathering of her loved ones.

I hope you hear a lot of good stories from those who knew her.

Mom looked and pulled out her diamond earrings and necklace and a few rings that my Mom thought were missing. G'ma had stashed them so the workers wouldn't get them I suppose.

Like her style. That is EXACTLY how my grandmother would've thought. Accurately!

I'm sorry she's passed away, but glad you found just the right keepsakes. The plate and the platter and the gravy boat are good things, because you can really use them and think of her.
