You covered an incredible amount of ground in this chapter; talk about emotional tilt-a-whirl! I always referred to it as an emotional roller coaster, but I like your metaphor better, because it is a whirlwind of emotions swirling hither and yon and no end in sight. Coming to terms with embracing an end to the darkness and a beginning to true healing is essential. Recognizing it is hard. I love the Jeff/Nick side story and really hope they, too, reach an understanding as to where they are headed. Another amazing chapter.

It's a fic I wrote about 2 years ago and just wasn't happy with the results after re-reading it, so I rewrote it. It's basically the same plot with much better writing and some slight minor differences :) I like it a lot better than the original (which was called Lights Will Guide You Home, which is what I'm making the 'verse title, because this is going to end up having to different parts.)
