SHIBUYA YUURI It isn't necessarily his Yuuri -- this one is slightly younger, and didn't know him yet when they first met in Death City, but that works just fine for Sara. He's still sweet and honest and dim, and easier to manipulate if anything. Yuuri believed everything Sara told him about their future friendship and they're even closer here than they were back home. And this Yuuri isn't aware of Sara's betrayal yet, so. It's kind of the best of both worlds.
Sara will say he's just keeping Yuuri close because he still needs to use him, and doing so will make his life easier when he gets home, but in all honesty Sara is pretty sure Yuuri will hate him once they return and he eventually learns of what the other king made him do, so Sara is mostly just enjoying the friendship while he can. Because he really does like Yuuri, for his power, but also for his sincerity and kindness and simpleness.
Then again, Yuuri went to the future, saw a Sara that had gone and joined the witches, and came back with nothing but even more concern for him, so maybe there's a bit of hope that he won't be hated once they get home after all.

UCHIHA SASUKE Sasuke makes Sara's life so much harder than it has to be. He's an antisocial brat, he doesn't care about anyone or anything that don't involve himself and his own goals, he acts like he's going to just go find a different meister half the time, his weapon form isn't exactly meant for offense, he gets hurt every time something goes on in the city, he likes waking up at ungodly hours for training, and he has this magical ability to frustrate Sara like no one else.
But for some reason, Sara still likes him. Kinda. It's complicated. As much of a pain in the ass Sasuke is, and as many times as they've fought, it all settles down eventually and for some reason they're still together. And maybe it's not such a bad thing that Sasuke drives him nuts, because at this point Sara doesn't even worry about keeping up appearances in front of him. What's the point, when he's already seen him at his worst?
And yeah, Sasuke is kind of small and adorable and fun to tease, and he's strong enough to make up for all his bullshit, and it's more satisfying to get a smile out of him just because he does it so rarely. And Sara feels bad for him, in a way. At the very least, he'd like Sasuke to give up on his whole self-destructive path of revenge, or at just realize that it's not worthy dying over, but. Well, yeah. Complicated.

KANON Kanon was the first person who tried to resonate with him (after a bit of persuasion), and they'd worked together until Kanon was sent back to his world. Sara tends to miss him whenever he's having difficulty fighting with Sasuke, because compared to a blindfold, a scythe is a wonderfully straightforward weapon. Kanon was on the quiet side as well, but he was fun to bother and even when he got irritated, he had a naturally polite, subservient manner that suited Sara well. He'll admit he was fond of Kanon, but they never really had a chance to be at all close or anything.

MAKA ALBARN Sara does not like Shibusen in general, but he likes Maka if only because she's completely unlike the ladies of nobility or servant girls he's used to dealing with back home. She's smart and professional and capable, she can fight for herself, and she bitched out Sasuke when he was being an ass during a mission. Soooo many reasons to like her.
☠
SPIRIT ALBARN Why does everyone seem to think he's so awesome? Sara does not approve. Be more like your daughter 8|
●
DEATH THE KID Kind of...bizarre, but at least he seems more focused on important things, like the war. Except when symmetry is involved. Luckily Sara has not been the victim of a symmetry rant yet, but he's seen them on the network and he's not sure whether to be amused or concerned.

KIDA MASAOMI Kida is just all kinds of awesome. He's from Japan and full of information, and he's good at answering vague questions, and he saved Sara from possible future embarrassment by explaining that most other worlds have a very different view on sexuality than his did. He's friendly and helpful and laid-back and fun to joke around with, and they don't really talk about anything very personal but Sara is just fine with that. As far as casual friendships with others in Death City go, Kida is Sara's favorite.
♥ ♥
GRAY FULLBUSTER They were forced to fight together during an attack on the city, and Gray made a very good impression. He was encouraging and helpful and patient, and he's complimented Sara enough to earn a semi-permanent place in his good books. It's not as if Sara knows him very well, even after spending a day stuck to him, but their interactions have all been mostly positive and Sara rather likes him.
♥
SPITFIRE A pretty chill guy and an awesome hairdresser. Sara will never let anyone else try to trim his hair now.
♥
CELTY STURLUSON She doesn't have a head, but otherwise she seems like a lovely woman. Who's he to judge anyone based on something like not being human? And she's Kida's partner, so she gets more leeway than the average stranger.
♥
KURAPIKA Sara likes him. Not that he would think them "friends" or anything, but Kurapika is informative and responsible and polite even after being subject to Sara's teasing, so it's reasonable to think of him as being fairly trustworthy (as far as Sara is willing to trust anything to a near stranger, anyway).
He's been given the task of trying to get Sasuke to open up a bit, and even if he complains, it doesn't seem like he's going to just forget about it, or snitch on Sara to his weapon, so the king does have a good amount of respect for him.
♥
UCHIHA ITACHI It's complicated. Because he's heard most of the story about what went on between him and Sasuke, from both points of view, and as far as he can tell it's all just a huge misunderstanding but neither of them seem to be actively trying to make it better and Sara's just getting frustrated with their situation. He doesn't want to get directly involved, but he doesn't want them to kill each other over something so stupid, and now that they're able to work together without conflict, he's more confused about what's going on with them than anything.
But regardless, Itachi is likable enough. He's on the quiet side, but Sara's found him to be polite and agreeable, and they can resonate if he's ever in need of a backup weapon. He did lie that one time, but Naruto was the one who started that and Sara just likes Itachi more anyway, so he's forgiven him by now. Mostly.
♥
YAO WONG (CHINA) He asks too many questions, and sticks his nose into matters that are personal and have nothing to do with him, but he's good for conversation so Sara doesn't fault him too much if their talks end up on topics he wouldn't generally speak of with a mere acquaintance.
♥ ♥
ASANO RIN Sara liked her quite a bit, for her respect and good attitude and being a pretty double-black girl from some version of Japan that left her just as lost in this more modern world as he was. But she was kidnapped and later killed by the witches. They weren't close enough for him to publicly mourn, but it's given him a bit more reason to believe that the witches really are his enemies here.
●
HATAKE KAKASHI Apparently Sasuke's old teacher from home, Sara is very curious and very cautious, especially because Sasuke seems a bit conflicted himself. He didn't say to be wary of Kakashi or take an opportunity to avoid him, but at the same time he sounded very awkward about talking to the man in the conversations that Sara stalked. And he's stalking everything he can find.
Unfortunately, he hasn't had an chance to talk much with Kakashi, but he does plan on fixing this problem. Sara has his on on this one, as what could very likely be the best source of information on his irritatingly uncooperative partner.
●
MAITO GAI His antics over the network made Sara's eye twitch and had he the choice, he might have tried to avoid him altogether just so he wouldn't have to deal with the over-the-top enthusiasm and general weirdness. But an opportunity presented itself to prod the man for some information, and he couldn't justify ignoring it just because of the guy's bizarre attitude and horrible-smelling cooking.
Admittedly, he found Gai to be more tolerable than expected once they were actually talking and Gai wasn't getting all excited about anything. He didn't have much to tell in the end, and keeping his guard up the whole time around a person who could very likely notice anything being off was a bit irritating, but at least Gai wasn't outright irritating. Just...weird. Very weird.
●
KURORO LUCIFER Everything he's seen and heard of this guy seems...off. Probably because he knows the type -- people playing nice when there's really quite a bit more going on, much of it not very nice at all. No doubt because he's like that himself. But regardless, Sara's not judging, just keeping a distance from someone that seems like a bad idea to get involved with. He's plenty polite when they interact, of course, especially because Kuroro is Kurapika's partner, but Sara's being careful to not get tangled up with this one.
●
FROLBERICHERI So loud and easily irritated. His universe sounds fascinating, but talking about it is a little frustrating. Frol's not as bad as some, but Sara can't say he's particularly fond of him.
☠
UZUMAKI NARUTO Ack, so much more complicated then he wants this to be.
Naruto is loud and obnoxious and bratty and a liar and Sara is just fine disliking him for all that. If he had the choice, he'd just not deal with him at all. But Naruto seems to be to Sasuke was Yuuri is to him, and while he doesn't quite understand it, he does respect it -- if only because he doesn't want to start another conflict with Sasuke. And then worse, after he helped Sasuke and Itachi rescue Naruto from the witches (for Sasuke's sake only, of course), Naruto went and thanked him and demonstrated a much more tolerable, gentle side. But it only made Sara uncomfortable and somehow it just bothers him even more than the obnoxiousness alone, because it means he can't just keep things simple and keep hating him entirely, and he doesn't know how to deal with occasional bouts of what seems to be genuine kindness from a person he's pretty sure he still dislikes. He can still get the upper hand with teasing and such, easy to provoke as Naruto is, but he doesn't like the idea that Naruto might be starting to understand that much.
☠
GRELL SUTCLIFF Oh god what is this. Mostly just an irritant, but he's a good target when Sara wants to relieve some stress and mess with someone. As long as Grell doesn't hit on him again.
