I am impressed by your list of exotic meats and pumpkin delights. I have had most of the pumpkin items except the cream cheese, soup and tortillini. I have had butternut squash ravioli, and a delicious winter squash soup made by my husband (back in the day). I am not a huge fan of savory winter squash dishes; my husband, who was a fan, and a creative cook, tried to entice me to the squishy side with various interesting preparations, and the spicy soup was a big hit.

And I'm jonesing for some fresh, crisp, Michigan apples!

23. Foie gras - don't know what this is

Your goose liver pate' may have been foie gras. (fwah grah, rhymes with mwaah, sorta. hee.) Foie gras is liver from a duck or goose that has been force-fed to make the liver larger and tastier.

I hear that! Mmmm apples.
I had the pumkin tortillini at the Wolfgang Puck resturant in the MGM casino last fall and it was fabulous. The cream cheese I found at Bruger's Bagels(I think that it) in East Lansing a few years ago during the fall. Haven't been able to get ahold of it since then. The pumkin soup I think my dad made a long time ago. I'm a huge fan of all orange and starchy foods. Yams, sweet potatoes, squash and my one true love pumpkin. I think I need to try out some new rescipes this fall. I made a very taste squash cassarole last fall. I made a point of trying every variety of squash availible at the supermarket last year. There are some squashes out there that I had never heard of and are far superior to butternut, which is fantastic in its own right.
Ok I think I've gone on far too long about squash!
