I started this to bring modeling to the masses..

Oh, TV season. How glad I am that you are starting up again. And if you are not watching "Hellcats," then you are not spending your time wisely. It's weekly dose of Bring It On to your TV screens. Except that the head cheerleader is a brunette, and the rebel is blonde.

Pre-show Picks: Lexie, Kendal, Chelsey

Favorite quotes:

"I'm not used to all these different cultures and diversities."

"It's time for your first 'runway walk!'" (It's all about the quotation marks. Ms. J knows what's up.)

"Look at this beautiful specimen!"

"I just like to cuddle. Is there something wrong with cuddling?"

"I'm not really nervous 'cause I know I'm amazing."

"Go past the type. And riiiiide that hype."

It was nice of Tyra to begin by telling us all about herself. As though she hadn't been reminding us of her lifestory since Day One. But I'm always happy to let Tyra talk about herself, because it's like music to my ears.

I also love when Tyra plays mad-libs with the girls when she has them tell her their life stories. Well, first she barks, "Name, Age, City, State!" and then makes the girls change their natural appearance because it is displeasing to her. That's what modeling is all about, y'all. Also about teaching us to overcome possible racism. Or at least hoping that we overcame possible racism. And according to Ms. J, you can get rapping skills from sleeping with a black man. Possible racism? Who knows? I hope they learned a lesson!

I don't know what to make of Ann. Frankly, she scares me. That waist. TERRIFIES me. But more important than racism is people judging you based on height. So be aware of that, y'all. Tall people have feelings too, they are not just emotionless giants.

Tyra is also, once again, befuddled by siblings. No doubt that she was an only child. But let's hope she doesn't think these sisters are twins, or make them do everything together, a la Amanda and Michelle (Cycle 7). But...it's Tyra, so I feel like they will be doing a lot of things together.

And Jordan. Man do I hate her.

Regarding my pre-show picks: I'm in love with Lexie already. She's not afraid to go blurry on TV, she knows her reality TV lingo, and she's funny. And she hates Jordan too. Kendal doesn't know what Palm Springs is, and Chelsey is kind of bland, but in a good way.

I cannot really describe how great it feels to have this show back on and to have Tyra spouting her nonsense. There are not words to describe wonderful this is. It is sad, because I am watching it alone for the first time in four years, but oh my god, I still love the crazy.

I still don't think Italian Vogue and Cover Girl go together, but who am I to know?

I'm also enjoying "Terriers," so you all should check that out too.
