Your Glee thoughts are EXACTLY what mine are (not that this surprises me). Sue, Will + Sue scenes, and Beiste made the episode. I could have done without anyone else. I also didn't realize this was the direction they were going with Sunshine. And, I don't know. I'm not really a fan of the spontaneous hallway and bathroom singing. It feels very High School Musical and considering how immature all the kids were being this week, it kind of fits. It's lather-rinse-repeat from last season, like you said. Everyone is mad at Rachel, Mercedes and Kurt are a clique, and it's like everyone is back where they're supposed to be (except Finn). And, the beginning - wth? I was concerned before the season premiere, and this episode did nothing to make me feel better.

"The two of you are making a very serious mistake today, the likes of which has not been seen since the Mexian-Indians sold Manhattan to George Washington for an upskirt photo of Betsy Ross." I almost spit my drink out on this one.

I'm so happy with the addition of Beiste. I think she's perfect for this show and can only add to the amazingness. I was also left a little cold with the Sunshine storyline - but it's still that same whiplash storytelling where you get one entire plotline wrapped up in five seconds; Sunshine losing faith in Glee Club could have taken up a few episodes, if done right.

I'm not really a fan of the spontaneous hallway and bathroom singing. - This. Yes. They started out S1 that way, and I wasn't crazy about. Sometimes it kind of worked, but that's usually because there was some sort of cheer routine involved (see: "Bust Your Windows" [or whatever] and that Quinn song).

I hope the Britney episode is good. Also I hope we get to see Kurt singing "Toxic" because I think that would make my life.

I almost spit my drink out on this one. Yes. It was definitely a replay moment for me.

Every issue I had with it last year is still there - Agreed. I still hang around for the music and for Sue, but I'm still finding issues with the writing and the way they write plot. I'm hoping Britney/Brittany brings the camp that I love so much.

Oh yes, watch "Weeds" - so, so good!

I don't necessarily love Rachel, but I am sick and tired of the fact that she has to be the butt of everyone's hatred. I love Sue, Terri and Puck most of all, and anytime they do anything, I am pleased, and I'm thinking this will spread to Beiste as well. I like Emma when she's not in the context of dating Will (because I loathe Will).

I find Finn to be really annoying, if only because he keeps being lauded as this amazing singer/person and I find him the worst of the singers, and shallow. I enjoy the cheerleaders, especially Santana, because I am worried about the overuse of Britney. I do not love Kurt at all - I want someone to tell him to stop being such a dramatic freakshow. So yeah, it's about the entertaining and crazy minor characters for me.

You are so right. I loved those little reactions from Sue. Jane Lynch ftw.

I feel like most people are so in love with Mercedes and Kurt but mostly they just get on my nerves like no other. And I too wished the Sue/Will partnership had lasted longer. Oh well.

As for Weeds, did the season just start or am I several episodes behind already?

At this point, I'm just in it for the crazy ladies: Terri, Sue and Beiste. Occasionally Santana. That's it.

Regarding Weeds, the sixth episode just aired, so you have some catching up to do. I smell a Weeds marathon!
