I have to say I enjoyed this episode as it aired, and I feel like there were several things I did genuinely like (the Puck/Artie stuff, pretty much anything that came out of Puck's mouth, a funny comment Britt made that I can't remember now, the "and Tina" line, the epic confetti canon bit, Kurt's potential new romance, Will being less annoying than usually to me). This might have been my favorite episode so far this season (so we'll have to differ on that point...possibly the first time our opinions haven't completely matched), but that's not really saying much, because this season has been quite disappointing so far. That said:
Re: #1. Yes. YES. I hate the fact that they gloss over a lot of the details of this show, but the sections/regionals thing always bugs. Only in Ohio do glee clubs pop up out of nowhere apparently. :/
I mean that they deflated her character. I feel like they put her in this box, like, unconventional-looking people won't find love...Or if they didn't want to go that route, just to make her a stronger

I think I've had enough Kurt episodes to last me the rest of the season. Thank you. I love Kurt, but the storylines dedicated solely to him (which annoys me anyway when it happens to excess, because as you mentioned, the show tends to fare better when the storylines involve more people) are pretty much...variations of the same stuff over and over again. We get it (as much as we can, anyway). Being gay isn't easy for most high school students, and that's amplified when you're the only kid at your school who is "out." But, just. They've focused on that so, so much this season that so many others things they could be doing with the other characters are just cast aside, and may or may not surface because of the show's issue with continuity and lack of ensemble storylines. And: I feel like Ryan Murphy struggled as a young gay man, and this show is his outlet for expressing that, sometimes at the expense of a good show I have wondered this too from time to time. It reminds me of how Shonda always used to say (still says?), "Meredith

I think half my problem is that whenever I start episodes of "Glee," I start in the mindset that I'm going hate it, or at least dislike it. The moments you pointed out are things that I too enjoyed, but as a whole, I felt like the episode didn't hang together for me. I can tell that because there were all those good moments, and lots of Puck moments, which are my favorite thing, but I didn't remember them. And I think this is the first time we've different opinions on episodes. But that's okay.
And just because the boys all apologized and they ended the episode with a hug - And a kind of inappropriate hug, to my mind. It's like these teachers/coaches have never been instructed in appropriate behavior with students.
I don't think I will ever like Will. I don't know if I can get past this dislike I harbor for him. And his speech to Shannon was so unbelievably dim-witted that I wanted to punch him
