This was hands-down my favorite episode of the season. I DIDN'T HATE IT EITHER. I laughed a lot. It was nice to have a more lighthearted episode.
The Glee kids bit was just amazing. As was the number at the end. I was mostly very happy with this episode.
And I HATE Gwyneth Paltrow. I know we've touched on our mutual dislike for Angelina, but I don't know if we've discussed Gwyneth? Anyway, I find her soooo snotty and bitchy, but I found myself loving her as Holly Holiday. Damn. Most complicated hour of my life. I went back to hating her after the episode, but for an hour of my life, I was laughing at the things she said and did.
This is the first Glee episode of the season where I'm seriously considering watching it again.
Yes, far and away the best we've seen this season. Absolutely. The lightheartedness was an excellent change of pace - I really feel like this is where "Glee" needs to stay. The actors have the chops for drama, but the writers don't. (At least not the drama they want to do and still have it not be a cable show)
I loved the baby Glee kids, but really despised the end mash-up. I understand what they were trying to do with the songs, but I don't think it meshed. It was like trying to put "The Thong Song" together with "I Could Have Danced All Night." Which is a shame, because I wouldn't mind hearing the Glee club just do "Umbrella" but I doubt we'll hear that now.
Ugh, yes, I hate Gwyneth too. her GOOP nonsense is ridiculous. But yes, it was a very conflicted hour, where I was all set to mock her, and then I was all, "Wait, you're kind of the best thing to happen to this show." I think it's because she didn't take it too seriously.

Love Holly Holliday. LOVE PRINCIPAL SUE. Love Will being sick (that always needs to be in my life). But WHERE THE FUCK WAS EMMA. That is the only thing.
This is almost what I typed for the entry. You and me, we are of the same mind.
