Purrsimmon, Kitty of the Sun!!!

o here's what I know about Pursimmon's back story: she was found at the end of July as a pregnant stray in the northwestern most county of the Maryland panhandle by animal control and taken to the county shelter. The county is sparsely populated and the Alleghany Mountains of the Appalachian Range runs through it. So there's lots of wilderness

Wow, I feel like I'm reading an exciting novel. And then what happened.....?

The fascinating lives of cats! It's what I've always been into. I read Born Free when I was in my single digits before i had the vocabulary, with a dictionary next to me and looking up every other word because Elsa!--I had to know everything about living with that lion!

She's just adorable. I've been lucky mine settled in really quickly and all bar Reuben are cuddlers.

My vet thinks she may be a few months older than what the rescue vet decided and closer to 2, but I still think she could be a couple of months younger, because she can be such a kitten sometimes. I love her colors just as they are with the cream body and orange tail and ears, and a little orange blush on her nose, back and feet, but she's likely to get more orange as she ages with her points the darkest orange. I don't know if she'll ever trust me enough to cuddle with me, but I am grateful that sometimes she loves to be petted because she has such a soft bunny coat, and when she allows it, she generally won't me to stop.
