So back to a simpler time, when cat wrangling was my major anxiety and hope, back to the last day of 2019 and the saga of Purrsimmon and the rocky introduction of little Shuri

Thank you! I'm being subjected to lethal levels of adorbs on a daily basis, but it's not a bad way to go.
I don't think Purrsimmon was an innocent victim in this sequence--there's just a butter wouldn't melt in my mouth look on her face and she never sits staring at the wall like that. I've never seen her play with Shuri's tail, but Shuri plays with hers all the time, sometimes looking like if she just tugged it at the right angle, it would break off and she could run off with it.
My brother has a pair of sisters who have been in bad fights and don't like each other, and before them, my family had a brother and sister pair who loved each other but he was so much bigger than her and a bully and would beat her up badly though she'd always forgive him more quickly than Saki would forgive Tuxie, and Saki attacked my Milli badly when I first brought her home and it took a major amount of work to rehabilitate that relationship, and it worked, but I know a lot of people would have given up on it, and it's never a sure thing. So I am very grateful their personalities blended as well as I hoped, but I keep my fingers crossed it doesn't ever go south. They're complex little people.
How adorable !!! This post warms my heart immensely. I'm so glad for you they both are going well together and they are soooo gorgeous!!!! You must be a very proud and happy catmom! Thanks for sharing, my dear- just what I needed right now. *hugs you virtually and sends many headrubs to your rascals*
