Ever since the murder, he has seemed happier.

Wait. Let me back up a few weeks.

It started out with just a plain decorative glass bowl. Something simple, clean, matched the room. A layer of mixed brown and pink sand colored rocks lined the bottom, and I had added a few bulbs that would eventually grow into plants.

Yrag I guess we kinda named him perfectly! Also, when he got ick, the first white spots were on his head and they looked like little horns sprouting! Lol should known.

Awww, poor little sucker fish. I wonder when Lucifer did the deed and I bet he's making the snail stay quiet! :-)

But yeah, fighting fish are pretty fierce little bastages. Back when I first started keeping fish many moons ago, I made the mistake of putting a fighting fish into a well-established tank of various fish. Within a week most were slaughtered... :-/

Anyhoo careful with the snail. Some freshwater types can be hermaphroditic and will completely overrun a tank. I made that mistake too a couple of years after my betta fish mishap, heh. :-)

See, I've had better before and wound up putting one in a tank with goldfish. They were fine, surprisingly. I guess different ones have different demeanors, and this one is just crazy lol. I love him though!
