What happened between Shishio and I is as follows:
We fought with all we had. He had defeated Sanosuke, Aoshi, and Saito. I was barely standing. We had both shown every trick we had up our sleeves He had even used and killed Yumi-dono.
I did not want to leave Kaoru-dono.
Shishio did not want to be defeated.
He would have defeated me with one last attack, I would not have been able to defend myself.
He had been fighting too long, but neither did he want to stop.
He burst into flames right before my eyes, and I saw him burn to ash before I passed out from my own wounds.
I hope this information helps you. If you wish to speak to me in person I will do my best to accommodate you, but I do not wish to fight with you. I do not wish to fight at all anymore...
I know I'm not as... er.. well I guess not so great with words like Ritsu is but all I know is it's hard.
But... y'know, actions speak louder than words, so if you need a shoulder to lean on or someone to vent to, my door's always open, office and apartment alike.

I do not wish to speak to you. I'm afraid I have nothing to say to you at this time.

For me, I worry about everything and everyone.
For Aya-san, he sees his own wrong and tries to write it, but knows his limits.
For another cousin, it is to never forget, but to also understand.
I hope you can find what it is that will help you.
