I just had a customer who spent at least 400$ on a 500 GB HARD DRIVE and called me wondering how to burn a CD/DVD from it.
I love people, I really do. REALLY.

How could you possibly have a need for a drive that large and not know how to burn stuff? I couldn't even fill a drive that large and I pirate shit all the time. Damn.

I'm thinking the guy has way too much money and just bought the top of the line cause he didn't know any better. He'll never use that much space and it will take a lot longer to defrag the drive cause he didn't know to partition it properly... or it's just a data drive... I know if I had one that large even for just data, and I wouldn't use one that large as a primary, I'd partition it to no larger than 100 gig partitions... but maybe smaller than that. No need for one large partition that takes forever to defrag.

Ya know, I feel sorry for this guy.

my customer actually thought that her hard drive had the capability of burning.. I was thinking.. um... lady.. do you SEE A DISK TRAY????
I had to explain the difference between a burner and an external storage device.. gawd I wish I had that much money to throw around!

i just told him to move his desk across the room because the feng shui was wrong. When all else fails, insert it rectally!
