[Tje bird caws softly in response and Norn shivers under the cold weather. She comes across a cabin and opens the door to reveal a blond man petting his crow.]

Exuse me, Sir. I hope I'm not interrupting anything...

[ He blinked a bit, confused to see a girl in his doorway. ]

Oh, uh.. hello there. No, you're not.. Who are you?

Oh, that's good.
My name's Norn.
It's really cold out, and my sides ache something terrible. Do you have an extra room or something I could stay in? My birdy friend and I have been outside for a while...
[The crow stares at her coldly.]
Oh, and he lost his eye. Have you seen a birdy eye floating around anywhere?

[ He smiled a bit uneasily, glancing at his own bird.]

I'm pretty sure they only have one eye.. And, I guess there's room-- there's another room, back there.

[ He nodded towards the hallway that lead to it.]
