Lavender laughed. "Well it's good to see that you're smiling.. even if you're faking it." Lavender looked around and said, "It looks nice in here, you boys decorated it very nicely. I'm impressed." She smiled as she followed Harry to his bed.
Laughing quietly, he repositioned his pillow at the head of his bed and plopped back into place, resting his back against it.
"We do try not to be completely slobs, Lavvy," he said with a grin. "Did you bring the cards or..." He looked toward his pile of stuff from the hospital wing. "Did you leave them with me?"
"Isn't that what the house elves do? Don't take credit for their work.. I mean honestly." She laughed. "I thought I left them with you.." Lavender helped him look through his stuff in the pile.
"I promise I won't cheat, even though I easily could and you would have no idea," she said with a glimmer of mischief in her eyes.
She layed down 4 cards and said, "Okay, so you start with four cards each, and you have to match what you think the other person will put down. You can match in number or colour," She paused and thought of a better way to explain it. "So if you match what I had already put down, it doesn't count, only if you match what I put down after you. There are two plays to every round, and you and I would start alternatively. So in the first round, you start by putting a card down. And I am blindfolded at this point.. I put a card down after you do, and if they match, you win the round. Then, we switch." She smiled broadly at Harry, knowing that she could read peoples minds better than anyone. "It's called Blind Match, and it's my favourite game to play..but I guess that's because I always win." She giggled innocently and watched Harry's reaction.
"Oh, so basically we're going to play a game that completely plays to your strengths and is bound to end up with me losing miserably? Is that what you're telling me?" he joked, looking skeptically at her just before grinning.
"Fine. I'll play, but if I ever get my hands on a Quidditch trivia game, you and I are on." He shook his head and grinned again.
Lavender laughed while nodding. "It does seem that way, doesn't it," she grinned, "But I'm sure you won't lose miserably..maybe just a little bit." She giggled.
Lavender looked surprised, "Harry, you know I don't know anything about Quidditch! Cheerleading, maybe, but not the game itself!" She giggled again, and started to deal the cards. "Okay, I'm going to blindfold myself now, do you have something I can use, like a bandana or something?" She looked around his room for anything obvious.
"Of course you don't know anything about Quidditch. That's the point, Lavvy," he joked, rolling his eyes.
Spotting something they could use, he walked over to Brady's bed to retrieve the scarf he had gotten him for Christmas. He smiled at the embroidered 'BW' on the end before handing it to her.

"Did you want me to help tie it around?"
