Here's part one of my story index (updated Jan 28, 2012, new stories marked with NEW). The ones with the little * are the ones I'm fond of myself. Which... doesn't necessarily mean they're good. *coughs*

Fic Index Part 2

Series and Multi-Parters

1001 Nights AU (John/Rodney):
(cross-posted to the AO³)

* 1001 Nights Aren't Enough - genie!John: The man introduced himself as Jinnshellapaharradat ben Geenerralshellapaharrasomethingsomething - "My last owner called me John." - and was a genie who liked sword fights, educational television shows, and everything that involved flying carpets; and oh, Rodney had three wishes.

Lamps and Stuff - John's last master was Rodney.

~~~
After the Fall (John/Rodney):
(cross-posted to the AO³)
After the Fall - post-Atlantis: After the Atlantis expedition had been recalled to Earth, John had quickly lost contact with his few remaining friends.
Falling Again: Rodney had started needling the brass to assign John "somewhere he's actually useful, and by that I mean here" practically from the day he had taken his new position as the scientific head of Nevada's most famous secret base.
~~~

By the End of April (John/Rodney):

* By the End of April - AU, Fireman!John/Rodney: One look at the tall man in the middle, and Rodney couldn't have kept the words from spilling out if he'd tried: "Mr. May!"
Download By the End of April as podfic

* August Blaze - John could barely breathe as he stared at the burning building. They had Ladders on both sides now, dousing the upper floors, steam mingling with the smoke. Somewhere inside, something collapsed with a crash. Moments later, a rose of fire bloomed out of a fourth-floor apartment. Their apartment, John realised numbly.

~~~
Cat and Raven AU (John/Rodney):
* The Cat and the Raven - raven!John & tomcat!Rodney: As cats and ravens went, they shouldn't have had too much in common, or even seen each other as anything other than a moving piece of fur on the ground or a black dot high in the air
Bedraggled - Now, if you have ever tried to bathe a cat that did not want to be bathed, you can imagine Mr. Fluffles's expression as he takes his first step into the puddle.
~~~

Dearest AU (John/Rodney):

* Dearest (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, John/Rodney, character death, questionable consent: 04-877-57-7G was sixteen when he was finally transferred to his owner.
Download Dearest as podfic

* Precious (cross-posted to the AO³) - Sil shrugged and tapped on the readout screen. "This is a tagged government ship. The broadcast is clear, the designation is on the list. It's the Aurora."

Promise (cross-posted to the AO³) - Years after being Liberated, John volunteers to be chained down again.

~~~
Discworld Fusions (John/Rodney):
* High Stakes (cross-posted to the AO³) - Discworld!AU: John just looked at the other man, who in the cramped small-town tavern stuck out like a sore thumb with his black robe and pointy hat, and raised one of his brows. Rodney rolled his eyes. "Rodney McKay. Do I get your name, or would that obliterate the baffling veil of mystery you shroud yourself in?"
Download High Stakes as podfic
Flying High (cross-posted to the AO³) - Borrowing wasn't usually something Rodney excelled at, although he was good enough for a grudging nod from Granny Weatherwax.
Low Probability (cross-posted to the AO³) - John really did have Lancre in his blood. For some people, that alone was proof enough that he belonged to them.
Unrelated Discworld fusion: Ooook Ook EEEK Oo-ook, Or: The Necessity of not being an Orang-Utan (cross-posted to the AO³) - The physical showed that Rodney was a) in perfect health for a male orang-utan except for a stubbed toe, b) still in full possession of his faculties, and c) capable of knotting up a pair of metal thongs with one hand. Item c) was also demonstrated when a marine accidentally stumbled into their area and asked, "Hey, why's there a monkey in the infirmary?"
~~~

Goa'uld!Rodney 'verse (John/Rodney):
(See LJ comm for more stories)

* Lord of the Sea - John/Rodney-ish, crack AU: Among the Goa'uld, Mer'deth was something of an oddity.

* The Extraction of the Goa'uld Mer'deth: A Brief Summary - Imagine, friend, a Goa'uld who would sacrifice himself for the well-being of his host. What times we live in!

~~~
Greenhouse AU (John/Rodney):
* Life in Full Bloom (cross-posted to the AO³) - Thus began a relationship of gentle ribbing and teasing, with sunflower doing his best to keep tulip grounded and from alienating the rest of the greenhouse with his attitude. Tulip, in turn, took a special delight in educating sunflower in the various types of fertiliser and playing the occasional game of guano/not guano.
The Necessity of Having a Bee (Or Not) (cross-posted to the AO³) - "You know," sunflower said casually one morning, "I think my pollen are ripe."
Flight of the Bumblebee (cross-posted to the AO³) - "Oh, I'm incredibly, incredibly sorry. I'm a frisky bumblebee," the insect answered sincerely, and sunflower sniggered.
Sex and Pollen (cross-posted to the AO³) - When sunflower dipped his roots into the fresh, warm mixture of water and fertilizer that cool summer morning and started to drink, it took him a few swallows to realise that the taste was a little… different. Not bad, different, just unfamiliar, like no fertiliser they'd ever had before.
Shelter (cross-posted to the AO³) - Who did that bush think she was, butting in with her… her slutty leaves and mysterious air and… and Sun-damned delicate blossoms?
~~~

Home Shopping AU (John/Rodney):
(cross-posted to the AO³)

* But Wait, There's More! - part one of the home shopping verse: When Rodney had been unfairly kicked out of his academic circles because of differences in opinion with, oh, just about everyone, he'd never thought he'd find himself in the electronic retailing business.

Handmade - second instalment in the home shopping verse: The shyer he became, the more people wanted to touch him.

Special Offer - third and final instalment: Rodney was following the routine John himself had set up for them all those months ago, a careful choreography of touch and withdrawal almost like a dance, and John had no idea how to tell him that it was time to leave the two-step behind and start in on the tango.

~~~
I, A Knife's Blade (John/Rodney):
I, A Knife's Blade - AU-ish, temporary character death: A Goa'uld mothership turning up in the Pegasus galaxy had been a surprise, to say the least. So had John's first encounter with the ring device. And his first time in the sarcophagus wasn't something he liked to dwell upon, either.
Blunted Edge - sequel to I, A Knife's Blade: There were too many memories he didn't want to recall, too many images he didn't want to see, but they just kept repeating themselves. Over and over and over again.
~~~

Insect Hole (John/Rodney):

Insect Hole - pre-slash, torture: The two creatures huddled together in their cage, and Tvarrgk wondered if they were mates.

Land Mines - sequel to Insect Hole: A month had passed since they'd been rescued, and Rodney's body was slowly healing. The first two days had been dreadful, when it had seemed like the doctors were fighting a losing battle, when Carson hadn't stepped out of the infirmary, in case Rodney… just in case.

~~~
John Farr 'Verse (John/Rodney):
( See Master List for all stories)
Cycle (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, John/Rodney, dubious consent: "This is the hottest thing that's ever happened to me."
Won't Let Go (cross-posted to the AO³) - "This isn't how I imagined touching you again."
~~~

Male Enhancement AU (John/Rodney):

Male Enhancement (Flesh and Blood Version)

Male Enhancement (Tin Man Version)

~~~
Penguin AU (John/Rodney):
* Antarctic Drift - penguin!fic: "Tell me we didn't just adopt an egg." It shouldn't have been possible, but John sounded intrigued and irritated at the same time.
Download Antarctic Drift as podfic
* Bipeds and the Deep Blue Sea - sequel to Antarctic Drift: Rodney of course thought the bipeds were fascinating, deciding to study them almost immediately.
Download Bipeds and the Deep Blue Sea as podfic
~~~

Routines (John/Rodney):

* Routines - crack!fic-ish: Atlantis might adore The One, but her subroutines loved The Scientist.
Download Routines and its Missing Scene as podfic

* Routines: Missing Scene - John leaned both hands on the door, feeling the vibrations shuddering through it, through the floor, "When I get my hands on you, I'm going to kill you, you stupid bastard! Get out of there! Now!"

~~~
*But Never the Nights - John/Rodney, perceived character death: Whatever had happened, the Wraith dart was down, and he was alive, that was all that mattered to him right now. He'd just have to get out of it, be found by his team-mates, and let himself be taken home to Atlantis into the gentle if a little unsympathetic care of Carson Beckett.
Now finally posted on AO3. RIP Wraithbait.
~~~

*The Boy who Learned to Fly - John/Rodney, character death: Ronon had taken their favourite balcony, Teyla the top of the central spire, and Rodney one of the few open places on Atlantis without a railing; all three of them were certain they knew just what, exactly, John Sheppard would be hallucinating.

~~~
Trinity's Fall - John/Rodney, pre-slash: And really, what had he expected? That Sheppard would send in the cavalry, to go find one egoistic, arrogant scientist? They hadn't cared the last few weeks, why would they start now?
~~~

Drabbles, Ficlets and Untitled Snippets

13 stories I've written (only not): For a man, Sheppard had insanely soft lips.

14 Things That Happened Off-Screen - It would never work, of course, but he wanted Rodney to tell him that exact thing. Preferably with a long explanation that included hand waving, complicated phrases, and a few choice words concerning John's lack of intelligence.

Birthday Drabbles - includes a bit of everything

Comfort - short tag to Kindred: Perhaps it's the way Jeannie's been training him, but he does associate hugs with comfort now; with closeness, friendship.

Demon Snippet - AU, John/Rodney pre-slash: Alchemist!John needs some demon blood for a flying potion. The demon in question is not amused.

Limericklantis - Season 1 of SGA in limericks. The last one is John/Rodney.

McKay's Mechanical Marvels - John/Rodney, crack, AU: Rodney builds devices that make the guys on thinkgeek cry.

Semi-sequel to An Excercise in Pointlessness (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, very, very short: Then he's said everything he had to say, and there's nothing left to do but go back to his own time.

* Seventeen (cross-posted to the AO³) - interconnected drabbles that include a lot of warnings. I think the relevant one is repeated character death.
Download Seventeen as podfic

* Untitled Fic - angel!Rodney/human!John: You know what I want to write? Rodney McKay as a fallen angel.

Untitled Ficlet - John/Rodney, established relationship: Weirdly enough, John's rival for Rodney's affection isn't Katie Brown.

Untitled Hypothermia Ficlet - John/Rodney: By the time they finally reach John, his breath is barely even white anymore in the frigid air.

Untitled Snippet - John/Rodney, pre-slash: The mission had been less than successful right from the beginning: capture, torture, Sheppard needlessly mouthing 'don't tell them anything' from behind a forcefield in a tube that had been rapidly filling with water, Rodney unable to do anything but watch.

~~~
Stargate: Atlantis Stand-Alones
* 3 + 1 = 2 (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Meredith/Rodney/Ingram, AU-ish (obv.): Rodney is John's boyfriends.
* (Almost) Rapunzel (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, Not-quite-prince!John/Not-really-Rapunzel!Rodney: For a moment, they just stared at each other. Then the prince asked, "Aren't you supposed to be a beautiful princess?"
Download (Almost) Rapunzel as podfic
A Soul to Keep - John/Rodney, pre-slash: Rodney frowned at the way the soldier's eyes wouldn't quite focus, his pupils sluggish and widely dilated.
After, Or Maybe Between - John/Rodney, outside POV: They were in a rarely used corridor just off the main routes; Sam was only taking it because her solution to the invasion had broken the transporters.
All I Ask - Pianist!John/Phantom of the Opera!Rodney: He wanted to be with Rodney, too. He wanted to live with him, day and night; wanted to take down the mask and say that he loved him into Rodney's ruined face.
* An Exercise in Pointlessness (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, unrequited, character death: John felt strangely betrayed, and it made him spit out his next words: "You're gay, you wanted, you would have- how did you imagine it, tie me up, bend me over some altar and fuck me for the good of Atlantis?"
* An SGA Fairy-Tale (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, crack!fic: "Gentlemen, let me see if I got this right. Dr. McKay complained that nobody seems to get him, so the Deravami gave him a fairy to help him find his soul mate."
Download An SGA Fairy-Tale as podfic
* And Sometimes, You Just Go Snap - John/Rodney: In 2012, Rodney died four times.
Answer Man - John/Rodney: "Hey, McKay, why do all the aliens speak English?"
* Any Liability (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, awkward first time sex: Not to brag, but he'd never fit in there.
Basics - John/Rodney, character death: One of the most basic human character traits was the need for revenge, Rodney thought, staring at the device in his hands.
* Blink (cross-posted to the AO³) - cyberpunk AU, John/Rodney: I am going to tell you a story. About Dr. McKay and how he bought an eye from me, and how that one small act led to the strangest night in my entire life.
Download Blink as podfic
Bound in Blue (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, bondage: Imagine, if you will, Rodney McKay naked.
Read Bound in Blue in RussianNEW
Break Stuff - John/Rodney pre-slash: Rodney's going to destroy a world today.
* Czech Mate - John/Rodney: John could have spent the night on the mainland taking part in some crazy Athosian harvest festival that had promised to include lots of ale, but he'd declined in favour of playing chess. With Rodney. Who was now standing him up.
Cupid with a Broken Bow - John/Rodney: Being with John Sheppard is difficult.
Dead Zone - John/Rodney, pre-slash: "I'm…" John swallowed. "I think I can see the past when I touch something."
* Destiny Revisited (cross-posted to the AO³) - SGA/Merlin crossover (John/Rodney, Merlin/Arthur): This time, Merlin is the one saying words like "idiot" and "moron," and Arthur has the stupid ears.
Download Destiny Revisited as podfic
* Disarmed and Unbalanced (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, angsty and dorky not-really-death!fic: The last time John saw Rodney, Rodney was dead.
Don't Ask Anymore - AU, Musical star!John/Reporter!Rodney: "Rodney!" His quick, slightly ironic smile was the same as ten years ago. "Drive with me back to the hotel? I believe I owe you an interview."
* Eighty Days Give or Take - John/Rodney: "Well, yes, if you want to take an incredibly complex and intriguing concept and reduce it to the level of a third-rate sci-fi show," and Rodney's face was clearly telling what he thought about that, "congratulations, it's a holodeck."
Download Eighty Days Give or Take as podfic
Emissions - John/Rodney: It was as though the Wraith queen's invasion had unlocked something in his mind
* Emotionally Stuntedly Every After - John/Rodney: "John?" Rodney asked for the third time, his expression grown from curious to worried with every time John had opened his mouth to speak, only to close it again, coming up blank.
Ethereal - SG-1's Crystal Skull, John/Rodney: The orb had been all that was left behind, lying unharmed on the floor where Sheppard had stood, just moments ago.
Everyday Sweetness - Teyla/Kanaan: From an early age, Teyla had known that hers would be the warrior's path, not the healer's.
Expanding Universe - tag to 38 Minutes, no real death!fic, John/Rodney: John dies looking into frightened blue eyes he can barely see anymore.
Far Ahead the Road has Gone - John/Rodney: "So long, Major." Three simple words, and John's blood froze at the sound of his own pathetic goodbye thrown back at him.
* Five Minutes Before Dawn - John/Rodney: The sight isn't new; it's not even unusual. But the way John's heart picks up its pace until it's pounding, slamming against a chest that's suddenly too tight - that's new.
* Fixation - John/Rodney: John didn't have anything against huddling up, per se. It was just that his team seemed determined to make him huddle up to Rodney.
Flock - John/Rodney: "So instead of North American forest we get African savannah. Nice. Where exactly are we headed again?"
Focal Point - John/Rodney, pre-slash: With the good drugs faded enough to make him lucid, but not enough to make him cry with pain, Rodney usually experienced the worst part of hospitalisation - boredom, which for lack of a laptop or even a handheld inevitably led to introspection.
* Four Times John and Rodney Furthered the Evolution of Mankind, and One Time They Just Changed History (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney crack AUs: "Hi, I'm Sheptron. Wanna fuse?"
Download Four Times… as podfic
Read Four Times… in Russian
Games of Chance - John/Rodney: Sheppard, who is both the prize Rodney is playing for and a measure for how badly he's losing, and God, Rodney really needs to win this game, but he doesn't know how.
Gifts You Didn't Ask For (But Wanted) - John/Rodney: "Well." John scratched his head, still not liking the thought of Rodney as being lonely somehow. "You'll have to clear it with Elizabeth first. And convince Caldwell to transport a small animal and all its gear."
* Ghost Writer (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, Romance novel author!John/Ghost!Rodney: "Oh, yes, like violence is going to help," the man snapped, but he was bouncing on his feet, looking irrationally happy for someone who was… dead.
Download Ghost Writer as podfic
Hayfever - John/Rodney: When the door finally opened, Rodney didn't really expect Sheppard to do a horrified double take at the cheerfully bright get-well flower bouquet he was holding. Neither did he expect Sheppard to sneeze right into his face.
* Heart Arrythmia (cross-posted to the AO³) - Rodney/Jennifer, John/Rodney, Ronon/Jennifer: Rodney suddenly had two good friends he was simultaneously in love with. And he desperately wanted to believe that love wasn't an either-or, except if the two people one was in love with didn't also love each other, one ended up with the unfortunate prospect of having to choose one of them or none at all.
Here There Be - John/Rodney: "It's a dragon," Rodney said stupidly, but instead of slapping him across the head for pointing out the obvious, all John could do was nod.
High-Water (cross-posted to the AO³) - kind-of-not-really-AU, John/Rodney: After weeks of trying to find the boy's parents (he told them that his mother was Ontario and his father Salmon River, but nobody believed him) or any other relatives, the authorities declared Meredith an orphan.
Home Equals - John/Rodney: For Rodney, home these days equals three simple things.
* How Things Really Went Down After Doranda - John/Rodney, post-Trinity parody: "Hey, did you hear that McKay almost got Sheppard killed with his hubris even after he'd been told to stop, and betrayed Sheppard's trust and dissed Zelenka and pissed of Weir and blew up a solar system for no reason at all?"
In Other Words - John/Rodney, kink!fic: Who'd ever thought that Rodney had such a dirty mouth? That he'd drop his voice and lose his big words and say things that made you shiver with want?
In the Giving - John/Rodney, Teyla/Kanaan, past Rodney/Jennifer. Major (temporary) character death: John raised his head, and Teyla wanted to cry for both of them, because John's eyes held not a single tear, no shred of pain.
* In Your Sleep Dream Us Home John/Rodney: - "Sheppard. John. Please wake up."
* Incorporating a Few Slight Adjustments (cross-posted to the AO³) - mensa!AU, John/Rod: Rod's initial feeling of smug superiority over being the better McKay had quickly given way to envy. Honest to god envy, because Rodney could be petty, could be an egoist, and he still had friends, and it was probably a truer friendship than anything Rod had ever had.
Read Incorporating a Few Slight Adjustments in Russian
* Ishmael (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney: Rodney has never viewed himself as a particularly self-sacrificing person, but standing in his burning city, watching the last jumper headed for the mainland take off into the night sky, he finds that what he feels is more relief than fear.
* Just Another Day in Paradise (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, AU, crack: Rodney was clearly the more majestic bird.
Knievel the Mighty and the Eye of the Gods - John/Rodney, Atlantis MMORPG crack!fic: "Shut up and play, Sheppard."
* Light On (cross-posted to the AO³) - wing!fic AU, John/Rodney: "Leave a light on," John says, "so I can find you again," and Rodney does.
Download Light On as podfic
Like Pavlov's Dogs - John/Rodney: He is ten when they move again. His father has accepted a post in Canada - Canada! It's practically behind enemy lines! - so John says goodbye to the few friends he's got, packs his stuff, and off they go. He's determined he won't like it there.
Live Life Ordinary - AU, Ex-pilot!John/Physicist Rodney: The man's chest was rising in a slow, regular pattern, so at least he wasn't dead yet. It was a small comfort, but at this point, Rodney was willing to take whatever he could get.
* Logopetria (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, pre-slash: John watched in horrified fascination as Rodney literally choked on his words, strangely-shaped objects spilling from his mouth in utter silence except for his coughing and ragged breath.
Love Is - John/Rodney, established relationship: When the doors to Rodney's quarters finally slid open, John looked up from where he was lying on the bed and smiled. The smell hit him a second later and choked the smile right off his face, nearly making him gag. The golfing magazine landed on the floor as he jumped to his feet and hurried to the door, barely in time to catch Rodney as he toppled forward.
Match Made in Heaven - John/Angel!Rodney: The dark-haired boy has grown up into a young man, long-limbed and slender. He has signed up for the Air Force - throwing bombs on people, lovely - but except for a very few friends, he's alone. Even at a distance, Rodney can see that he's lonely.
Messages - John/Rodney, established relationship, outside POV: Lirren has been the Healer's assistant for two years and prides herself on her patience, but the honoured Doctor McKay makes her want to yank her hair and scream with frustration.
* Monday to Friday, Saturday on Agreement - John/Rodney, crack!fic: "I'll take Absurd Alien Lifeforms for 200, Alex," Rodney whispered to Sheppard.
Download Monday to Friday, Saturday on Agreement as podfic
* Natural as a Steampunk Train - John/Rodney: "I love you," he said, baffled, only realising he'd done so when Rodney went completely still.
* No Clues Whatever - post-Trinity, John/Rodney pre-slash: McKay fucked up. There's no reason for John to be the one feeling guilty.
* No I in Team - Gen: When the medics arrived, his team-mates were advised to stay away from him.
No Thinking about it - John/Rodney: John is left staring after them, still feeling the skin of his neck tingle where Rodney's lips had brushed against it.
* Nobel Deeds (cross-posted to the AO³)
- John/Rodney, post-season 5: "McKay." Sheppard gives him a short nod, like it hasn't been months since they last saw each other. Like Sheppard didn't tell him to go to hell.
Not in the Manual - John/Rodney: "Wraith worshippers," Sheppard told her, still slightly breathless, "stole the remote control."
Not Quite an Explosion - John/Rodney: "Well, if we're all done here, I'd like to add something." They all turned towards him with expectant gazes. "Once the Hiveship is gone, I'll return to Earth aboard the Daedalus. Consider this my official resignation."
* Now - John/Rodney: Completely out of the blue, Rodney experiences what can only be called a moment of "now or never."
Of a Friend - Gen: Rodney's faith in Sheppard's coping mechanisms aside, there was the issue Sheppard had with taking proper care of himself. As in, he didn't.
One Man's Island - AU-ish, werewolf!John/Rodney: John didn't have to turn around to know that Rodney was staring at him, at the long, furred ears, the shaggy black tail that had ripped a hole through his BDUs.
* Only with the Best Intentions - Gen: Elizabeth had been the first. Comatose and damaged beyond the capabilities of human medicine, she had been the perfect candidate to test the experimental medlab Szeczinski had discovered in what they'd designated Block 5 of Atlantis' snowflake layout - after all, what did she have to lose?
Or Down Low - Gen, character death: Rodney summoned the last of his strength and pushed himself forward, allowing himself a brief, pained smile as his hand encountered coarse dark fabric, warmed by the afternoon sun. He pushed again, and again, and then he was there, finally giving in to pain and dizziness and letting go, allowing himself to rest.
Perks - John/Rodney: The thing about having sensitive nipples, besides their irritating habit of perking up at the most inconvenient moments, was that they hurt when it was cold.
Possibly Maybe Probably - John/Rodney: John thinks it's just possible that he might love Rodney.
Pounce - John/Ronon: "Look," McKay concluded impatiently, his voice low even though they were alone, "if you want to have him, you'll have to take him yourself, because there's no way he will make the first move."
Probably Mistaken - John/Rodney: It's not always easy to meet expectations. Sometimes, it's even harder not to.
Resolving the Issue - John/Rodney, pre-slash: His eyes are dry and itchy, and so is his skin; there's a headache at the base of his skull where the muscles are tense and hardened, he can't concentrate anymore, and if he doesn't get some sleep soon, he fears he's going to kill someone.
Rising - John/Rodney, character death, tentacle sex: "One of my team members just turned into a giant, glowing squid, so excuse me if I'm a little on edge here!"
Root Vegetables and Whipping Cream - Gen: One of them will set up the tents. Two of them will gather wood for the fire. One of them will cook; and of course they have a rotation for that.
* Same Old Dance - cheating!John/Rodney: Rodney closed the door on Sheppard and the redhead, closed the door on naked, sweaty people who were so involved with what they were doing they hadn't even noticed him, and walked away.
See My City Dead - Gen-could-be-read-as-pre-slash, character death: Atlantis had died twofold.
Sex Pollen snippet - John/Rodney, PWP: There was a soft moan against his ear; hot, moist air that made him shiver and moan in return.
Shagging the Sheikh - AU, Sheikh!John/Almost-harem!boy Rodney: To add insult to injury, bad weather had forced his plane to detour around Eastern Europe and finally land in some tiny backwater Arabian kingdom no one had ever heard of when they'd run out of fuel. Rodney had kept pacing around the ridiculously small waiting area, only to be ogled by some guy with a suit and stupid hair who'd smiled at him and then had him kidnapped by his minions.
Shudder - John/Rodney, dub-con somnophilia fic: "Do it," Rodney breathed, "I want… do it, John."
* Size 7,5 (cross-posted to the AO³) - Cinderella musical AU, John/Rodney: Rodney was having a bad day. His mother had died in some bizarre kitchen accident involving a kettle, a carrot, and a dead chicken, and they were just returning from having her buried next to his father. They, because Rodney's stepfather Acastus Kolya was nothing if not keeping up the outward appearance of being a grieving widower, and his two daughters Chaya and Mara had dutifully shed a few tears as well, even if they did have to pinch their eyelids to get the water flowing.
Small Change - John/Rodney pre-slash, missing scene for The Return: For one exhausted, irrational moment, John just wants to be home. Barring that, he wants to be in Nevada, where there's sun and heat and Rodney.
* Snow White (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU-ish, John/Rodney, temporary character death: When the prince came to the coffin made of glass, seven Ancients stepped into his way: this one was not meant for him.
"Some Freely" and "Unwell" - John/Rodney, tag to Conversion, going AU: They found Rodney in an abandoned Genii camp, pale and thin and sick with radiation poisoning.
* Socks and Keys and Stuff (and John) (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, John/Rodney: Rodney McKay was a collector. A collector of lost things.
Starcrossed - Alien!John/Rodney crack AU: So he'd taken the alien home and called him John because his real name sounded like a bad case of whooping cough, telling everyone who asked - i.e. his neighbour, repeatedly - that he was Rodney's long-lost love from… Greenland. Yeah. The pointy ears? Oh, definitely a Greenlandic feature. Quite common, in fact.
* Stargazing (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, Bug!John/Android!Rodney: This smooth-skinned machine had gotten to fly an X-307 when all John had gotten was blue skin and weird eyes and to watch his friends die in fire. He'd just leave the thing to fend for itself.
Static (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, missing scene for Doppelganger: "So," Rodney said, his voice oddly hesitant, "your worst nightmare is... me being dead?"
* Stunned - John/Rodney, established relationship: Two Wraith break through the tree line, hissing as they take up pursuit. It will take them mere seconds to reach him if he doesn't run, Rodney knows that; yet his fingers won't let go of Sheppard's vest, his arm's won't stop supporting Sheppard's weight, and if he survives this he will have to talk with Dr. Heightmeyer about self preservation instincts and his obvious lack thereof.
Superstitions 101 - Gen: The Athosians believe that to take another's life is a crime never to be forgiven.
* That Comfort Thing (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, tag to 4x20 The Last Man, going AU from there: John wants something he doesn't think he can have.
That Fuzzy Feeling - John/Rodney, drugged!sex: "Ro'ney, you drugged me," John managed a halfway indignant voice, and thus was horrified when he concluded the sentence with a giggle.
*The Absence of Sound - John/Rodney, character death: He had heard it for the first time on the day that Carson had tried his gene therapy. Like a hesitant greeting, cautious but jubilant, clear notes not quite like a piano reverberating through the back of his mind.
The Art of Feeling Guilty - John/Rodney, pre-slash: Rodney, though, didn't really hold the whole thing against him, not after the initial round of 'you shot me - give me chocolate'. Ironically, it made a crappy situation even worse, because John didn't know how to deal with a forgiving Rodney McKay.
* The Clothes That Make (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, kink!fic: The dress is simple: scratchy, roughly woven hemp that hasn't even been dyed. It itches on his skin, pulls at the fine hairs on his arms, chest, ass; doesn't fit very well despite - because of - the lovely cut.
The Dark Side of the Moon - AU, gen: In which Teyla Emmagan climbs a ladder to the moon to save a friend.
The Dreaded Day - Gen, could be read as pre-slash: Rodney was going to do the self-sacrificing thing once again, for he had invited Sheppard for the weekend.
* The End of the World as We Know It (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, John/Rodney: John Sheppard lived in a small house by the end of the world, which is just a few miles to the south of the left end of the rainbow. It was a solitary life, the house surrounded by nothing but long grass and wild flowers and a few trees in the distance… and, of course, the sheer cliff dropping straight down into infinity about fifteen feet from the back door.
The Firebirds of Calneh (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney: The secret of the ZPMs is revealed! Alas, it turns out that some time over the past few years, Rodney McKay has developed a conscience.
*The Formula of Perfection - Gen: At first, he had thought the SG-1 formula was simple: two soldiers + two scientists = one hell of a team. Only that one of the soldiers had been an alien, and one of the scientists had been a soldier, so it might take a slightly more complicated equation than that.
* The Ice Queen (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, John/Rodney: The Ice Queen might be beautiful but her kisses were deadly, they said. Freezing soul and body alike, stealing warmth and breath and life; she might be beautiful, but she was evil.
* Thorn Wall (cross-posted to the AO³) - John/Rodney, pre-slash: "There is a truth each of them needs to know. They will wake up if you tell them the right thing. Do not worry: if you fail, I will rouse them myself." She had smiled again, and then with a wink of her wings, she had disappeared, leaving him alone in a sleeping city.
* Thumbling Down (cross-posted to the AO³) - AU, Thumbling!Rodney/Fairy!John: Rodney didn't want to go see the fairies. He didn't want to think about that.
Tree Hugger - AU, Lumberjack!John/Whatever!Rodney: "I'm demonstrating against the fatal environmental implications of logging and its effects on the very sensitive floral and faunal balance of the Canadian ecosystem."
* Underworld: Last Stand - Underworld!crossover, John/Rodney: In the early days, before the war, there were two boys. One of them was a Vampire, the other a Lycan. It was in a time when Lycans were the Vampires' daytime guardians, little more than slaves, but in the way children often have, the two boys didn't care much about that.
Utterly Pathetic and Maybe Kind of Cute - John/Rodney: Rodney might have a fever, but he can glare just fine. "Go abay."
View Points - John/Rodney: Rodney had used the Ancient's ascension machine to save John's life, ultimately giving up his own. It was a noble, selfless thing to do, and John wanted nothing more than to drag Rodney back and beat the shit out of him for doing it.
