"I mean," Olivia continued, "I don't kick, don't snore, and I'm too tired to try anything tonight."
"Too tired to what!?" Alex's gaze had suddenly become focused.
Olivia sighed heavily; blurting that out in a dingy hotel room with only one bed after a long drive to an extradition hearing wasn't exactly how she imagined she'd finally confess her feelings to the attorney.
But there it was and there was no going back. So she went forward. "I'm also too tired to have this conversation right now. So can we just get under the covers and get some sleep? Please?"
