Alex had made Paige a drink of fruit tea just before the knock on the door. They were sitting at the table, exchanging a bit of small talk whilst Alex did a bit of paperwork as well.

At hearing the knock, she went to check who was at the door. Once she was certain that it was safe to do so, she opened the door and let Connie in.

"Hey," Connie smiled and quickly went in, holding onto her briefcase. She glanced around, then waved slightly to Paige and Nichols. Paige looked up from the table and gave a wary smile.
