Even after we stopped talking completely, my dad still sent me forwards- things like coupons for children's books or notifications about sporting events. I realized recently that they had stopped as well and had some internal commentary about what it means when I didn't notice an almost daily communication trickled into nothingness

I'm hoping this is fiction. I want to make a crack and ask if your father is named Donald Trump. Mostly though, I want to commend you for turning out OK. Better than OK.
