So that is what these markings are for. I was curious but I did not think they were for a reason such as that. Everything else you have said is just as helpful and I thank you for the information.
However, how are we to know you can be trusted with such information?

You can’t be 100% certain that I am completely trustworthy. That is impossible. Whatever I tell you could be a lie. However, you can be sure of two facts.

One; this census has obvious survival purposes. Two; considering that the chances of you being from my world are less than 10%, your name is meaningless for me. All of us have a brand, and all of us have a name. Whoever you are in your world, your identity will not affect your stay in Nihil.

I just need a name and brand- I am certain that you would like to be rescued in case something happened.

I apologize if my disappearance has brought you unrest. If it hadn't been for Mello's flawed thinking and like always, rash decisions, we probably would've returned much sooner. But, Mello's always been one to delay things after all. It's only natural to assume there would be complications.
