The social worker just called. She is scheduled to visit the home of the Aunt tomorrow who would replace us as relative caregivers. Assuming the home checks out ok, which is likely, he can be placed with them as soon as tomorrow. Wow! I'm relieved and a little surprised. For as slow as things have been moving, this is really fast
