Keppler had no concept of time when he was at work, unless of course there was a time-sensitive situation. He smiled a little sheepishly as he grabbed his belongings off the passenger seat, and walked with her toward the access gate that would take them into the hotel without having to go through the main lobby.

"It's a little bare," he explained. "Greg helped me find an apartment. I'm moving at the end of the week." A small grin. "Hotel rendezvous. Romantic, isn't it?" he deadpanned as they stepped onto the elevator.

"That's true," he conceded, as the elevator dinged and let them out onto the proper floor. He shouldered open the door to his room.
