Young Cop/ Old Cop

THAT'S the winning formula! Ever since Lennie Brisco and Mike Big, this has been the recipie for Law and Order greatness!

I don't like this new chick! If they were GOING to have a non Olivia Benson chick as a cop on Law and Order, they coulda brought back Detective Jefferies!

Jack McCoy's new assistant seems pretty good, she reminds me of Jamie

Don't worry about Nina, she is fired already.

My apologies, i mis-read and mis-remembered something..

The Actor "Nona Gaye" (i remembered it as Nina Gaye) is gone from L&O CI.

The original post mentioned L&) and SVU, so my befuddled brain jump to Criminal Intent.

I like the actress, but was not pushed on her character in Convictions, but am glad she got role in Law & Order, i think she will be fine, but will need a few episodes to "find" herself.

I guess Dick Wolf wanted to pick up the actresses from his way-too-short-lived "Conviction." But on that show, she was the fierce, don't-cross-me-don't-bug-me I'm-sleeping-with-my-boss woman, while on here she's a know-nothing, bumbling, fumbling, beauty queen detective--?!? I liked the previous character way better!!

The new ADA is okay. A little too darn close with the shears (to have her look different from playing Caruso's wife on CSI: Miami), but whatever. She just stands and looks pensive so far.

Bang-up intro for Stabler's new (temp) partner--which was kinda obvious, but again, whatever.

Bogosian is gonna be the raw-nerves thorn-in-the-side, he's gonna be that guy? There's a departure for him.

And I missed seeing Shirley MacLaine--uh, I mean Noth's new partner. How was she?

It's like Bishop replacing Eames, it just didn't work. The character was just so lame. It did make you realize just how well Alex could handle her partner. Ditto for Olivia, although she rocks on her own.
