This is probably the one thing I should never ever speak about and definitely the one thing I should never hear about.

My parents' sex life...or their lack of it. It's none of my business, yet at the same time I feel that it is completely my business and my concern.

Anyway, I don't know, maybe your mum doesn't find it necessary and just sees it as one of those things that happens less over the course of a marriage. Is your dad going to talk to her? She probably doesn't realise how he feels. Hope you're ok. xo

I don't know why it's bothered me so much. Probably because I think of their marriage as being really strong and the thought of something being unspoken between them makes me really sad. I guess there are always unspoken things though..

I doubt he'll talk to her, I don't think he'd know what to say.

I'm alright, I probably should update more about myself than just random bits. Hope you're good too, love.

I'm a bit late to this, being absent for a while, but I just wanted to throw in my proverbial two cents. My mom is really open with me about her sex life, sometimes slightly embarrissingly so (I'm so sure I misspelled that), and it's not wrong to think or write or worry about. After all, I'm sure our parents spend a great part of our teen years worrying about ours.
As for your mum, she may not enjoy it, she may be too tired, she may have reasons to dislike it or think it shouldn't be enjoyed... It doesn't sound like she's particularly happy, so maybe she's just not particularly happy with herself - that would reflect on her physical and sexual confidence. None of this necessarily has anything to do with how she feels about your father, either.
