This seems a little confusing and patchy in areas, but keep in mind...it was 3am :P

She travels over bridges

And begs her pardons where she walks

She notes the tyranny of distance

And the tyranny of talk.

She wonders past the office

Where the cleaners start their days

Sits to have her ham and cheese

To avoid damaging her pay
