Looking back on my first year of law school now, I think it's funny (as in odd, not haha) to see so many people *freaking* out or whatever about what to expect, how to do well, etc, and just asking for advice. I am considering getting on Moot Court. I ended up not trying for Law Review or any journal, at least partially because I don't like legal writing and because I didn't feel like spending two weeks after finals writing anything. I had a meeting with a lawyer who practices in the area I want to practice in yesterday. I found out about this lawyer through my brother-in-law, not really knowing anything else about her. I finally bit the bullet, after nagging from my parents, and checked my grades. All I have to say is law school grades make very little sense. I got the best grade in the class I was most afraid to check and was basically stunned by my grades in classes I felt more confident about leaving the exam. Insanely odd. BUT.
