Come off it boy, what's to understand? They kick the ball and have nice legs, what more do you need? Did you ever see Elwyn's chunky thighs? My Mam did remark on your tardiness but also on her enjoyment of your visit. And yet again of her surprise at your drumming escapades.
I love the way every five minutes your dad will say something that he can see on the screen and then chuckle. "False teeth," he'll go. "Ohh, mushroom." It's a laugh a minute.
I'm willing to admit though that I might eventually cease to love this, given enough time.
Now you just don't. I mean, yes, I find that irritating but it's just a tiny crumb in a huge wobbley meat pie of ridiculousness. Examples? There are so many. He's so impatient he'll sometimes storm off if Mam's takes an extra few seconds to do something yet he seems to think nothing of, for example, "nipping" out and leaving me stuck on the toilet for an hour. And all because he had to get his prescription precisely then, because it was ready and if he left it for an hour or so, or a day or so, which he could have, well, perhaps someone might pinch it. After all, to be honest, as he says, these days!
