Benadryl, baby, benadryl! :)

I'm sorry you lost your grandpa. Hopefully the service will allow you to catch up and hear lots of good old family stories. And everyone's going to love Ella!

Benadryl might have to be an option......... :)

I really am looking forward to Ella seeing family. A lot of people who will be there have not met her and I think my kid is pretty much the most awesome kid in the universe, so everyone should want to meet her.

::hugs:: I'm sorry for your loss. Nice that you grew up with them right next door, I'm sure you'll have many wonderful memories to carry with you forever. :)

It was fun to grow up next door. It's so different now because Ella has grandparents all over the country that she only sees a couple of times a year.

Thanks for the hugs!

for the loss of your grampa.

But, as for the adorable Miss Ella (TM pending?), you're good at thinking on your feet (er, harder to do while driving your car) and I can't believe that a kidlet can outwit you. There have to be some imaginary games not yet invented. And, then, obligatory nap time and cuddling with her fave toy/doll....

She was a gem in the car. On the way there, we stopped a few times and played (there might be pictures of me in a McDonald's Playland gerbil maze). On the way back, she slept for half of the drive!

Thanks for the hugs. I'm not sure I'm ready to be "the age" where I have lost all of my grandparents.
