So, I hate fanfiction that will right a chapter in one charachter's P.O.V. and then re-write everything in the next chapter from the other charachter's P.O.V., barely changing anything. I find these stories tedious, boring, and poorly written... oh and obnoxious. Am I crazy? Because I don't think I am for thinking this.

Yay, someone else posted things about fanfiction tonight! I felt crazy, 'cause I just wrote a post about fanfics!

Ahem. To answer that, no, you're not crazy. Unless an author's extremely talented, having a post that retells the same scenario is boring.

In fact, there's only one fic that I'll read like that, and it's mainly because the first story is all from one character's POV, and the second fic is from the guy he's in love with's. And they don't spend very much time interacting...and the author is effing amazing.

Death to the switching POVs. Unless they move the story forward!

I don't mind if it switches P.O.V.'s as long as it's not repeating the same scene...on that vein I also hate when people put FULL songs into their stories... be like *play this song by so and so while reading* don't copy and paste the damn lyrics.
