“Oedipus Rex” was a pretty messed up story. I found it interesting that it split into 3 or 4 plays/parts. I believe Dr. Angel-Cann said “Antigone” was either the second to last part, or the last part of Oedipus' story. It's funny to think of Creon being the tragic hero in this play. I also saw Antigone as the tragic hero, but it made sense that Creon could have been as well after we discussed it in class.

I liked Hamlet the best. It was sort of hard to get a hang of the plot sometimes though! A Doll's House was great too!

True, Sophocles' play is kinda hard to understand. I still am not sure why Antigone killed herself like that, when she was such a strong-willed person.

I have officially come to the conclusion that "Oedipus Rex" invented the term grimdark. What is worse than saving a city from a Sphinx and being rewarded with sex with your mother? Answer: nothing.
