so im not even going to pretend im not pissed about last night.
so last night, after seeing everyone in the old port, we got talking about what we were going to do last night. we came up with the idea of the drive-in. so i had to go home to have a special dinner my mom was cooking me, and i asked my parents if i could go to the drive-in. my dad said there was supposed to be thunderstorms and hail and shit, so no, that and he wouldnt want me out past ten. so that was the first thing that pissed me off about the night.
so i had dinner. than i sat around listening to norma jean and playing solitaire for about 2 hours. because of lack of other things to do. i was about to go get some sleep, when nicole called me saying alex's car was dead at the drive-in and they needed someone to jump her. me having jumper cables, i asked my dad if i could go help them out. he said sure, which suprised me, as it was almost 11. so i headed out to the complete other side of town to go jump axp's car. i get there and everyone is outside chillin, apparently it was in-between movies or something. so i get there, and we all start talking about whatnot, and i ask about alex's car. apparently they had gotten it started. so i didnt need to drive out there at all. this didnt piss me off, just annoyed me, as i was exhausted, and had to drive across town for nothing.
so after i said bye to everyone for the summer, and nicole and axp walked me to my car. i get in, and being annoyed and tired, i start driving home. its about 11:15 now. i was driving down methodist, flying as i always do down methodist, when two cars drive past me. and the second one turns on his lights. at first i thought i was going to luck out and he was going to pull over the guy in front of him, but no, he turned around. and pulled me over. he asked for my liscense and whatnot, asked me "why the hell are you going 58 in a 35 zone?", i told him i just wanted to get home, which is all i wanted, asked if i had been drinking, and all the norm. he took my liscense and registration back to his car, and left me sitting there for about 15 mins. when he came back he had a summons. he said he dropped my speed from 58 to 54 so that the fine is only 180$ rather than 240$. i asked him if my liscense was suspended, and told him i had it for a little under 9 months, and he said he didnt know, and sent me on my way. i drove the rest of the way home at about 15 mph. when i got home my dad was still awake, because i had called him. we sat and talked about, agreed i fucked up. i went and got my green driver's ed book to check about the suspension, and my liscense is suspended, for 60 days. i told my dad that i should have enough money to cover the ticket in my savings account. we also discussed insurance. i have this thing called a "good driver" discount, which is a program i did when i had my permit, and i get like a 600$ a year discount a year, as long as i dont get any moving violations before i am 25. yeah, now i dont have that. the deal with my parents has always been, that they will pay for insurance, as long as i keep all the discounts i can get, and i had about 1200$ a year worth of them. so now i have to pay 600$ a year, since i lost that discount. that's mainly why im pissed.
don't try to call me and give me all the "im sorry" or "oh man that sucks" bullshit. my phone will be off for the next 9 weeks, unless i turn it on to call someone.
