Well, I went to Insidious last night and discovered that someone at the Cavern had had the wonderful idea of putting a bizarre step thing behind the dj booth. I nearly fell up it several times but the spectacular point of the evening happened when I tried to grab my drink and move onto the dancefloor at the same time. I caught my boot on the end

i really fail to understand the thought process behind putting uneven flooring, difficult steps and cramped conditions in darkened areas.

Or at least, I used to, know I know it's to get attractive women to -as you put it- pull Britneys, thank goodness for long and flowing skirts!

hope the hurt is short term.

My knees are all battered and bruised and it kinda hurts to walk properly at the moment but should be ok.

I did feel exceptionally embarrassed....
