So Alex is pretty settled into his new office job. It's not terribly exciting but it's money. I went and visited him at work the other day-- I don't know how he does it and I know he's bored all of the time. It seems strangely comfortable though, being in a cube... The suspense over this grad school wait is killing me! I guess I expected that after I heard back from one school that the rest of them would come flooding in. I'm reading about all of these people preparing to go into their interviews... U of W didn't ask me to come for an interview. I got word back from the first school that I applied to... Courtney called me because I was at Alex's, saying that I got a letter from U of Wisconsin. I asked her to open it. "Really? I just got back from visiting SE and Keri in NYC... I had such a lovely time, and come to think of it, we really didn't do that much. I left buffalo on friday and came back monday morning. All in all, a $20 metro pass included, I think I spent just over $50 on the whole trip (outside of my plane tickets, which were cheap!). It was a nice ( Read more... ) -

So... with the exception of the supplementary materials for U of Colorado's Germanics dept., everything has been sent out. With the exception of reminding LORs to get in their forms, everything is pretty much out of my hands. What a hell of a day. Really.
I've been having sleeping problems since Alex has been gone-- I slept in today, but that didn't really matter.
