1. When Mr.Pie and I were shopping for alcohol for our wedding, I said we should get the Tangeray(sp?) Gin for our guests. I'm not a Gin drinker. He said, no we should get the Bombay Sapphire Gin, it's better. Me: Are you sure, I've seen people drink Gin drinks and they've never been blue. 2. Do you think it saves energy when I Mute the sound on the television? (this one I just thought to myself but I knew the answer immediately). Of course it does!!

And. I think the amount of energy you're conserving by using the mute feature on your television is too small to be noticed on an electric bill (yes...wayyy too small). But you can canduct the experiment and get back to me....

Thanks. I was just kidding. I mean, I did have the thought for a split second but I know you can't save energy by pressing the mute button. But I do know you can save gas by turning your radio off in the car. Heehee...noooooo.

After thinking about it for the day, I think it's at least fair to say you are saving 'acoustical energy' by muting the tv.

I did some mathmatical calculations and if you mute the tv for 15 minutes a day, for 900 years, it will amount to a saving of exactly 23 cents.
