An Idea

So I had this idea last night. It kept me up for a good hour, woke me on several occasions and as I got up at six to have some breakfast (I was really hungry) it was pretty much all I was thinking about. The idea was, I believe, seeded by ephant's post about herself and then grew as a result of the speeches at my sisters 21st, where it became obvious

I hope you continue with this, and I apolgise in advance for the massive amount of trolling I'll probably be unable to resist. I really don't mean anything by it :)

And seriously, I think this is great and want to read more.

I feel that my default is a pretty private person IRL because I don't want to burden people with my problems, even if I know they're friends and are genuinely intereted in what's happening with my life. The reason why I've kept LJ for so long is because I don't feel like a burden here - I can write whatever I want and if people aren't interested then they can skip over it in a way that's not awkward. Yet people still keep commenting and it's made me more open about my life IRL.

So yeah, I'm certainly interested and I hope you keep writing. And writing down this sort of stuff is very cathartic at times and often a situation becomes clearer when you've marked it down in hard copy.

Thank you for reading my entry and I am glad that I was a part of your idea - I think it's an awesome idea and I am looking forward to getting to know you a bit better through what you write about yourself. (and I hope that you enjoy it - I know I enjoy examining myself through my writing to be very rewarding when I find the time and energy to actually do it instead of letting everything just muddle around in my head).

I don't know you very well either but, like you said, when people you like and respect like and respect someone it's easy to like them a lot by proxy even when you don't know them very well! <3
