I dared not expect too much from Game of Thrones season premier, you tend to get disappointed that way. I kept my excitement very low key but never fear, the Lord Commander ( now the King of the North ) et al DELIVERED! \o/\o/\o/
Winter has indeed come.
My biggest worry was Jon and Sansa. Would they become enemies right from the get go? I don't think they'd go that way mostly because there're only two seasons left and it'd be right down cruel and evil for them to break up the Stark family again. Having seen the first episode, I can now breathe easier. Especially when Sansa said that she knew exactly what Littlefinger wanted. But not so much when she said that she had learned from Cersei. Yikes.
But I think they'd make a good ( ruling ) pair. The new, Cersei-like Sansa would be a good counterpart to the too-nice-for-his-own-good Jon.
Daenerys - WOWSERSS!!!!! She looked awesome in her travelling suit. I half-expected to see Luke Skywalker standing at the edge of the cliffs at Dragonstone!! Be afraid, Cersei, be very afraid!
Now I can't wait for the Fantastic Four to get reunited. The last time they were together Jon was the tallest. Now not anymore lol.
