Stupid, honourable Jon.
Stupid, brave Jon.
Stupid, noble Jon.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Can you tell that I love honourable, brave and noble ( but stupid ) Jon?
Episodes beyond the wall were not my favourite. Even though there was Jon but ... everything looked so bleak and black&white and gloomy and most of the time I couldn't tell who was who in the blinding blizzards. Last night episode was no exception.
Oh it had its great moments - Jon/Dany *draws hearts*, undead!Dragon O.M.G, Jon/Dany *draws more hearts* - but overall, the weakest episode of this season IMO. And it has been such a great season too despite its warped, mind-boggling speed it went from scene to scene. Ha, what I wouldn't give to have previous seasons slow, mid-season episode fillers instead of next week being the finale.
Am keeping my expectations low and my excitement minimal for the finale ( much like I did for the season premier and I was rewarded by one of the best episodes ever ). Not going to anticipate Jon riding a dragon, nope, not at all. Not going to anticipate more Jon/Dany either, nope, nope ( the slow build is killing me but in a good way! ).
Speaking of Jon riding a dragon, I thought it was ironic and kinda funny that the one person you most expect to ride a dragon, didn't, while everyone else did lol.
