Absolutely no question about it - the  Great Dane tops them all.  :-)   Gentle giants.  Elegant, graceful, strong, regal - they combine athleticism and agility with an innate gentleness and wisdom.  They also amuse and entertain - they are SO well-suited to therapy work.   They're known as the Apollo of dogs - how appropriate - the sun gods.

Ah, you Dane aficionados! I believe there are no more fiercely loyal dog-lovers than those who adore Great Danes. I hope to get to know one someday. You people have convinced me.
