Why blame Channel 10? Why not the BBC?

It's a bit sci-fi and a bit camp, so as a spin-off of Dr. Who I think it pays homage quite well.

The guy who plays Captain Jack Harkness is pretty damn easy on the eyes as well though, so there's a bonus :D

It's embarrassing when Channel 10 try so hard to get something off the ground. Leave the money-hungry ratings grabs to Channels 7 & 9.

I like Firefly/Serenity kind of sci-fi - I never got into Dr Who so I guess that's why I'm not that impressed.

And Captain Jack Harkness isn't as cheesy as I thought he'd be. His trench coat turns me off haha

Yeah, Cpt. Jack is a character from the recent seasons of Dr. Who (I don't know how I know that, since I haven't watched Dr. Who since the 80's!). Also, every magazine I've read lately keeps screaming out the fact that "TORCHWOOD" = ANAGRAM OF "DOCTOR WHO" OMGZ! as well, so that hammers home the point haha
