One of our local newcaster's just signed off from her update with this, "And tomorrow morning, Christ the King will be here!  We'll be discussing one of our favorite local events, the annual Sausage Fest

Just sitting on the lawn enjoying a polska kielbasa, maybe some face painting and bingo, a little cakewalk and then......The Rapture!

I guess this answers the age old question of whether Jesus is a vegetarian.

Or keeps kosher. Of course, He might just stick with a tofu dog. Am I wandering into blasphemy here? All morning I've had an image of Easter Jesus (white robes, heavenly glow) enjoying a sausage on the lawn with some kids.

He sure didn't keep kosher when He was at our pancake breakfast. That guy can really put away the waffles and the sausages! In between bites he was smiling and told us how nice a change it was from all that fish.
