Ranting here because she'll see it on facebook, and I really don't want that drama.

So my stepmother made a facebook post saying that she loves the 50 Shades movie.....and I made the mistake of not keeping my trap shut.

Yeah I think you need to stay away from this woman. I mean she's calling you names for daring to think rape is wrong.

There's more that she edited and deleted. But basically "50 Shades is a love story/there's a good woman behind every man/it was all consensual/poorly veiled insults". It was either start a huge fight or forcibly ignore her.

I don't know that I'm happy about backing down like I did, but I was shaking I was so mad and hurt. I think backing down was the best for my sanity, if not my pride.

I made some chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate for myself. I needed them.

Yeah you did. She's wrong. She's just plain fucking wrong. 50 Shades is about rape, control, and domestic violence, and the fact that she sees it as a love story only proves she's a bloody idiot.

I don't understand how anyone likes it, and just one reason being it's just a terribly written fan fiction, from the equally terrible Twilight series.

Then there is the fact that the relationship is not healthy, and it doesn't represent BDSM properly.
