I had the 'devil tooth' taken out last Thursday.  I expected to take this in my stride after some of the orthodontic-related dental stuff I've had to have done over the past 6 years.  However, what happened when I got in the chair wasn't much fun.

Infections are just a possible side effect of having a tooth out hun HUGS

Also - I reckon you just got mega stressed at the thought of more dental work. I expect the dentist has seen it before.

Ah bless you, I really feel for you. I don't think it is very rational to be so scared of the dentist, but I really, really, really am. I too thought dentistry was a fear I had overcome through the orthodontist overload of my teen years, but at age 25 I had a little filling and honestly I was so scared of the injection I cried! Dentist man was very good and he did take it all in his stride. When I went back yesterday he told me how well I'd done, bless him.

Yes, some of that does ring true so thanks. I know sometimes shit happens and there's no deeper reason but I'm always interested to investigate the possibility. I had a look in the back of You Can Heal Your Life (I thought Heal Your Body was part of that now) but I didn't see that bit, which either means it's not a complete version of HYB or I wasn't looking properly in my pained-up state.

Thanks for the hugs - always appreciated. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be feeling perkier.
