Well, the big heart to heart finally happened, and angst abounded, as I expected. I'm glad that Jack has realized the tremendous burden that Ianto carried during his illness, and to some degree, still carries. Also, the ending was positively chilling. Wonderful chapter!
Loved this bit though, with Jack accepting what happened with Gray, and him knowing he should tell Ianto he loves him, and Ianto confronting Jack over the way he holds him at arms' length.
Another wonderful chapter...you captured everything that needed to be said between these two and Jack telling Ianto that he just has to forgive himself, was perfect...because we can all see in what you wrote, that Jack has forgiven him, but I think it's Ianto who can't get his mind around it, because if it's him on the side where Jack is right now, I don't think Ianto thinks he could forgive so easily. Such an amazing piece. Can't wait for the next part.
Oh, you are good! I'm loving every second of this fic, you build the tension so beautifully. And your Jack and Ianto are wonderfully connected and yet disconnected from each other... Can't wait for the next bit!

I'm suffering here.
So gorgeous, so real.
My heartstrings are in a twist. As are my guts!
