Part of me agrees. Which is why I want to race. Something tells me I'm not going to be one of those "live to 100" kind of people, but where's the fun in that? =)

Part of me fails to grasp how dangerous it would have been - I mean, if we're talking Ralf-crash-2004-bad fair enough, but is that what they were expecting? If we're talking Canada-2005-high-attrition-fun I would want them to race.

But then part of me remembers watching Ayrton Senna crash and knowing that he was as good as dead, so as much as the "race" stank yesterday I have to grumble and admit that they might have had a point.

But I still can't feel it in my guts that it was as dangerous as they thought, but I'm glad I didn't have to see a bad accident to prove me wrong.

Urgh, what a mess =(

I would have loved, absolutely loved, just one michelin runner to say "fuck the team, fuck the tyres, Im going racing." Even if they got pulled in at the first pitstop. That, to me, would have showed some real dedication to the sport and the fans by the men who are supposed to be the heroes.

Coulthard wanted to race. He said if it was up to him he would race. I think it was probably the same for many others. And yeah, dedication, specially to those guys in the stands who paid the money and got shit all for it.
