  Well, I'm about to begin a full day of preparations for 4th of July blowouts. First, I'm about to run to my mother's to help her with her BBQ lunch. Then, the SO and I will start on the one for his family. I'm already tired. LOL I want to wish all my flisters a fun and restful day, even if you don't celebrate. :)

The food was very good, with traditional grilled food and some exceptional catfish stew that my SO whipped up. He was very proud of it, a result of a recent night fishing trip. :)

Oh, I live in northeast South Carolina, about 2 hours north of Myrtle Beach.

Yeah, the ocean is not that far, can be there and back in a nice, little day trip. I usually prefer to go down for a vacay in September, when the crowds have left and the weather is still warm. :)
