Ok, so I now know what Jeremy Carver and Ben Singer were doing last summer. Watching a little werewolf show over on MTV, that's what. There was a certain scene in last night's ep that was totally identical to the crapfest that was Dennifer in "Hotel California". I guess that they couldn't even write an original scene for Castiel. 'sighs' That's ok ( Read more... )

Lately I was thinking of this problem. I mean, one of my friends who is not in the slash thing, asked me why we always want to ship man/man pairings instead of the straight ones. And I think here is the answer. I mean, I don't have problem with straight couples, not at all. I love Lydia and Jackson and Meg/Castiel for example. But still, sometimes they can fuck up straight pairings so much :| And at the same time they suggest awesome gay couples like Dean and Castiel xD Or Derek and Stiles. I didn't like Dennifer at all because it didn't seem real at all. It was forced, it was rushing, it was weird and I felt that the series just want to push it down in our throats :|

So, I totally feel your problem. I think every fandom can be happy with hetero pairings, too, but most of the times they can't make such hetero pairings we could love.

You are absolutely right. No matter what, Jydia will always be the best love story on Teen Wolf, and the missed opportunities for the love story that is Meg/Castiel are just insane. 'sighs' As for Dennifer, even Jeff Davis had to admit that it was a total creepfest, completely non-con in nature.

TV writers give us the taste of these truly awesome pairings, both het and slash. It's just enough to whet our appetites and excite us . But, then we are subjected to the drudgery of the most awful het pairings imagineable, week in and week out. Talk about disappointment. :(

It is, yes ;___; I'm so sorry Colton left (of course he had the right to decide like this, despite the fact that I don't know the reasons) so now we can't get more Jydia from the show, only from the fanfictions. The same with Meg/Castiel :|
I really hope he knows. I just can't believe it. Teen Wolf is not the first tv show Jeff works on and this Dennifer line is so... amateur from him :|

Yes, you are perfectly right about this :/ Sometimes I really don't get how someone could create a very awesome, mindblowing pairing, then make another one which is completely ridiculous.

Do you watch Arrow? I'm tuning in this season, and it looks as though they are grooming Colton's character to be the next hero on the show. But, I have heard that he said that he would come in TW's last season, presumably for Lydia. Don't know how true that is. 'shrugs'

And, so glad Jen is gone. Dennifer was horrid, as was she. 'sighs' :)

*blinks* Okay, I'm totally out of the loop and late to the party on this one but... you're talking about our boy getting his cherry popped, right? Yeah, it was SOS big time! And as for Misha Collins, he is just....perfection personified. *nods* God was in a GOOD mood the day he created that one. *nods nods nods*

No problem, chick. Yeah, that scene was kinda creepy to me. I mean, yeah, it was Castiel getting naked and all sexy. But, there was zero chemistry between himself and woman. That makes these things more believable for me and less likely to turn the channel. 'nods'

Call me old fashioned, but I always wanted his first time to be with Meg(no matter what the damn writers say, that totally happened!). They were so sweet with each other. But, no, they picked some skeezy chick that wanted to kill him. What, Sam wasn't available that day? Nobody cares if he has a near murder experience, that's just Tuesday 'cackles' :)
