I guess these are the "dog days of summer" and all that. I do know that it's dragging along. I have been phenomenally busy at work, since May. And, with only a few off days here or there, that vacation is desperately needed, let me tell ya. LOL But, we're leaving September 9th, barring any future hurricanes or personal emergencies. I'm pretty curious about The Walking Dead Spin-off but have to admit that everything I read and saw so far about it wasn't as exciting as I hoped for. Especially because I'd want a series playing in the same timeline as the current one. But I get why having the new show being at the time of the outbreak (when Rick was in his coma and we only know from subjective tales by the survivors) is a smart move.

I also get how the whole dynamic of a "disfunctional" family adds to the storyline but I don't like it. I don't want the whole family thing on top of the zombie thing. Meh... enough whining... maybe I will be blown away after the first episode. *shrugs*

Well, I wasn't blown away or anything, but then it took a few eps of the original before the realization that something truly awesome was occurring. LOL

The ep was kinda slow, according to TWD standards. But, the season preview was very intriguing, as we may get some answers to how the epidemic and society breakdown occurred. TBH I don't feel as though these characters will resonate with me, in the manner of the Georgia crowd, but time will tell. I'm gonna stick with it, as it's only six episodes. :)
