I love river trips!! We've gone in canoes but never kayaks.

WE went once on a spontaneous 10 mile canoe trip - Oh! Let's rent canoes!!! Only we failed to take any thing to drink. :((((
First two or three miles were great fun. Then the river started to look very tasty. Lovely post!

And, enlighten me please if you know it, what's the difference between canoe and kayak and which one of them is our baydarka like most of all?
