Well, this has been loads of fun, people. But it's time for this gal to stop being emo, which means cutting lj out of her life. I may continue posting song lyrics to mark the happy thoughts, but lj isn't really about the whole 'happy' thing, so I doubt there will be much of that

Just to be clear, I did not write this post in reaction to your post. I wrote it tuesday night/wednesday morning, before you had written yours. I did not mean to imply that your post was emo, or that there is anything wrong with being emo at times. There is a huge difference between being emo and sadness/defeat/acceptance of a bitter truth. I just feel that I have not personally experienced (recently) any pain or suffering that would qualify as anything but emo
